Robots at the Library, July 29

robotWe continue or summer reading program events on Tuesday, July 29th, when the library celebrates ROBOTS! Members of the Mt. Ararat SeaPerch Underwater Robotics team will demonstrate the robot that won the Maine competition and went on to compete at the national level this spring. (Photos by Darci Moore)

Elementary school students will also demonstrate their robots and answer questions about how they built them and programmed them.  Program begins at 10 at the library, and continues later (11?) when we walk/drive a short distance to a neighbor’s pool for the submersable robot demonstration!sm robot

Summer Reading Program Welcomes Matt Loosigian

Award winning musician, and leader of EarthJams, joins us on Tuesday, July 8th at 10 for a concert of songs and sing-alongs. Kids young and old will enjoy Matt and his music. You will leave with a song in your heart and a smile on your face, we just know it.
