The last of this winter’s workshops …
If you are interested in exploring your own family history and don’t know how to get started, then please join Kathy Montejo for an interactive workshop about getting started in genealogy and family research. We will cover such topics as birth, marriage and death records, family records, US Census documents and other resources. We will also explore the Library’s free resources, featuring “Ancestry.com Library Edition”.
Kathy Montejo has been working on her family history for 12 years, since discovering boxes of family letters and unlabeled photos in the basement of her Grandfather’s home. She has worked as a municipal clerk and has served on the Maine Genealogy Society Board of Directors and has offered workshops at national conventions. $5 class fee for handouts and other resources.
